New PEUGEOT 208:
more irresistible than ever!

The 208 now takes on a whole new dimension with a new lease of life! It's even more irresistible thanks to an electric version offering 400 km of range, a reinvented design, cutting-edge technologies and driving pleasure enhanced by new powertrains.
How could it be otherwise? The new PEUGEOT 208 was revealed to the general public for the first time on the occasion of the 40e anniversary of its predecessor, the 205, celebrated from July 7 to 9, 2023 at the Musée de l'Aventure PEUGEOT in Sochaux, France. Enthusiasts from the four corners of Europe did not hold back their pleasure, immortalizing this privileged moment. Photos, videos, the yellow Agueda on display was captured from every angle!

Irresistible design!

An appeal logically aroused by a bold design that has evolved in depth for ever more Allure. Karina Weber, Product Manager for the new 208, tells us: "The new PEUGEOT 208 has had an irresistible look with a very strong personality since its launch, but we wanted to go even further. Firstly, with its new 3-claw light signature at the front and rear, which gives it an assertive stance and a sculpted, sporty silhouette.

Secondly, the Marque's new emblem takes pride of place in the body-coloured grille. And you'll notice that the new Agueda Yellow and Selenium Grey hues give it a whole new allure! The new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, with its customizable 2D and 3D handsets and 10" HD central screen, is also a real thrill. Finally, I'd like to highlight the technological contribution of the new infotainment system, with its wireless mirror screen, connected navigation and OK PEUGEOT voice recognition."

Electrifying powertrains!

Peugeot Motocycles' latest two models mark its 125th anniversary in style.

Since the creation of its Mandeure factory in the Doubs region in 1898, the brand has never ceased to innovate.

A look back at the milestones in the history of Peugeot Motocycles:

The famous 200 series!

Peugeot 205 (1983-1998): a hell of a number, of course

The PEUGEOT 205 brings PEUGEOT into the modern era. Its design, performance and multiple versions (petrol, diesel, 3 or 5-door, convertible, van) made it a unanimous success. In the mid-80s, its commercial success rescued PEUGEOT from a critical financial situation and revived the Marque au Lion.

Its GTI versions (105, 115 and 130 hp) made a lasting impression on performance enthusiasts. As for its rally and rally-raid successes, they are engraved in motorsport history.

Peugeot 206 (1998-2012): the best-selling French car of all time!

What if the real "sacred number" was the PEUGEOT 206? With over 8 million units sold, it's the best-selling French car in the history of the automobile! Its bold design and dynamic roadholding were a hit.

By adding two innovative models to the range, the SW station wagon and the CC coupé-cabriolet, Peugeot hits the bull's eye and breaks records. The PEUGEOT 206 is also the subject of a mythical advertising film, that of the Indian sculptor who makes his own 206 out of odds and ends.

Peugeot 207 (2006-2014): from small to large

The launch of the PEUGEOT 207 marks the beginning of PEUGEOT's move upmarket in the city car segment.

At 4.03 m long - 20 cm longer than the PEUGEOT 206! - it offers improved interior space. In addition, finish and comfort have been significantly improved in a range that remains particularly rich in engines and body styles (station wagon and coupé-cabriolet are retained).

Peugeot 208 I (2012-2020): inaugurates the i-Cockpit

The first-generation PEUGEOT 208 is distinguished by a return to more compact dimensions - but with more space on board than a PEUGEOT 207! - and by a design break with the 206/207 line.

The evolution is particularly striking inside, where the PEUGEOT 208 inaugurates the new i-Cockpit concept, dedicated to driving pleasure. And to completely satisfy driving enthusiasts, the PEUGEOT 208 GTI is the first mass-produced PEUGEOT city car to exceed 200 hp!

Peugeot 208 II (2019-): bold and electric

With this second-generation PEUGEOT 208, PEUGEOT is making a strong statement for the 2020s. It features a bold design in the spirit of the PEUGEOT 508 and PEUGEOT 3008.

Above all, the PEUGEOT 208 marks the entry of city cars into the era of electric mobility within everyone's reach. Since its launch, 16% of PEUGEOT e-208s have been produced! A winning number that has been rewarded with the prestigious title of Car of the Year 2020.
